I know very well what it means to know that a specific timepiece will eventually be yours, but you have to wait .... and to wait ..... and to wait. In my case, I had to wait seven and a half years to fulfil my dream of wearing a UN perpetual, but this is by far not so long as your odyssey. Consequently, the anchor shape of your Freak's movement bridge is a symbol for you having arrived at your harbour, and I am happy to express my sincere congratulations! May it accompany you through all waters and currents of time!

It seems more might like the blue with titanium, but the black is very much my taste on this model.
And that is not an easy call, blue being UN's hallmark color. As I have been awaiting the arrival, I have already dreamed of adding an older Blue Phantom to the mix.

Fantastic watch. The new releases are no less impressive than the originals, but they feel a bit more unbuttoned. A dream of mine too, but a few many years away. I remember meeting Nelson at a UN event in Toronto and he’s a great guy.
The Cruiser style mechanism is what I call open and airy, a bit more structural.
The older ones, more dense and strong. Don't give up on the dream, mine took 17 years!

I must say, it wears smaller than the listed 45mm. Surely the black case helps.
So despite the monstrous size, it is stealthy. 45... technically, I have a few days to make 44... the reward came early!

Thank you. I credit your work on this forum, especially in the earlier years, as a large cultivator for my passion for Ulysse Nardin. I can clearly recall many of your posts - about the 160, the Sonata, the perpetuals, and of course, a variety of Freaks. ...

I actually "Freaked Out" over it after I found this watch. A few days later, it disappeared from the site. In fact, I don't think it is back up yet. I was worried that maybe it was not coming out after all, but luckily, it was just web related.
