It is great to join this small owner's group. I have always admired the watch and wonderful photos you guys contribute. The mechanism is quite fascinating to look at. Thinking back, I am not certain I ever strapped a Freak to my wrist before. Last Spring in Bermuda, I laid the pink gold Blue Cruiser atop my wrist. A year before in Chicago, I did the same thing with a Freak Lab. I saw a beautiful Freak Phantom in Vegas a handful of years ago. But yesterday marked the first time I fully tried it on.
Now, I will be doing that most days for the near future!

I admire so many Ulysse Nardin models, but this has always been THE one I wanted.
Came very close to a white gold Cruiser in 2016. Glad I waited and this came along.

It seems more might like the blue with titanium, but the black is very much my taste on this model.
And that is not an easy call, blue being UN's hallmark color. As I have been awaiting the arrival, I have already dreamed of adding an older Blue Phantom to the mix.

Fantastic watch. The new releases are no less impressive than the originals, but they feel a bit more unbuttoned. A dream of mine too, but a few many years away. I remember meeting Nelson at a UN event in Toronto and he’s a great guy.
The Cruiser style mechanism is what I call open and airy, a bit more structural.
The older ones, more dense and strong. Don't give up on the dream, mine took 17 years!

I must say, it wears smaller than the listed 45mm. Surely the black case helps.
So despite the monstrous size, it is stealthy. 45... technically, I have a few days to make 44... the reward came early!

I dislike the entire website, but I visit on a regular basis as new models tend to appear there.

I actually "Freaked Out" over it after I found this watch. A few days later, it disappeared from the site. In fact, I don't think it is back up yet. I was worried that maybe it was not coming out after all, but luckily, it was just web related.
