One of the unique features of the Freak is that it has no crown and no hands.
The entire movement is driven by the mainspring and rotates in such a way that the movement is the instrument for telling the time. The hour indicator is found on the mainspring barrel while the escapement bridge acts as the minute indicator.
To change the time you simply turn the bezel, to wind the piece you turn the case back.
