assume that is leap year indicator in the seconds subdial? What does the 16 indicate?

In the seconds subdiall is a day-of-the-week display. In the photo above, it shows FRI (though partly hidden by the hour hand).
The 16 is showing the date (the 16th).
All of the displays (other than the time) show: May 16, 2025 FRIDAY. (photo taken last Friday)
