New (to me) Tellurium Kepler - anyone want to check if I set it correctly?
I've
known of the Trilogy of Time series from learning about the history of
Ulysse Nardin, but I'd never seen one in the metal. I was vacationing in
Melbourne, Australia, and on a whim I checked Chrono24 to see what
watches were available in Australia. This one showed up on the list so I
made an appointment to check it out. I hadn't planned on getting any of
the Trilogy watches anytime soon, but I was blown away by it so I made a
bit of an impulse decision and pulled the trigger.
I read Marcus Hanke's book cover to cover (thank you, Marcus!) as well as the manual, and yet, I'm not sure this is set correctly. I was hoping someone (ideally on the US west coast) who does have theirs set correctly can verify.
Here are some photos. These were taken on 24 February 2026 at 6pm PT (GMT-8).
Anyone have any thoughts?

There are actually a few that come to mind...
The Krayon Anywhere and Everywhere both have that feature. More applicable, though, is the Day/Night by ochs und junior, which was of course designed by Ludwig Oechslin!

The Trilogy is an amazing threesome. Nothing like them.
I'm looking at purchasing a new old stock Astrolabium that will apparently need to be reset at the factory
And UN is saying that it will take 4 months and cost $10,000! I need to learn more about the Astrolabium before I decide to pull the trigger. Also, this watch had been serviced a few years ago, and the dealer who sold it to me shared the invoice with me. ...
Thank you for the confirmation! A question, though:
The Dragon Hand is pointing exactly at 12:00 today which I believe means the lunar orbit is intersecting the ecliptic. But when I looked it up on NASA's website, that won't happen for another 5 days or so. Is there something wrong with my watch?!

The position of the dragon hand is correct. The dragon hand always points at the intersection of the ecliptic with the lunar orbit. That it is pointing towards noon on the tellurium, simply means that, if the moon were there, which it is not, an eclipse c...
The reason I was (and am) confused is there's going to be a total lunar eclipse in about 4 days...
3 March 2026. I assume the dragon hand shouldn't be at the 12:00 position yet since it will have to be there in 4 days, but I'll just have to watch it play out. The site I was using to check the node passages of the moon is www.astropixels.com
it's just not that precise.
At 3.3 22:00 (total lunar eclipse) the dragon hand will be at 1 (and the moon at 30). That's well within the tolerance of where the Tellurium shows ecllipses. Best Andreas

I was going to send it in for service under warranty since it had just been serviced about 11 months ago so good to know what the tolerances are!

How does location play into it for the Tellurium? Is it just time zone? I could understand needing the coordinates for something like the Krayon Everywhere, but I didn't think there is anything specific I can set for location other than time zone
Yes, just the time zone for the tellurium

8 planets, eccentric orbits, astronomically correct orbit times plus
hand painted planets and multiple customization options to boot. Only problem is that it would be about 2x the cost of my next most expensive watch I've ever bought so it'll be a big step up. But man, it's gorgeous!
