... getting her a "sperpent" for birthday. Besides the prohibitive cost aspect, her way of wearing watches is barely compatible with the character of this fine timepiece. Working in radiology during the day, she has to wash her hands with soap and disinfective solvent after each patient, make that roughly 80 to 100 times per day. After that, she spends her time outdoors, doing dogs sports, with lots of mud, sweat and dog slobber. Her "finest" watch is a UN Dual Time, but already that one suffers, mostly the leather strap. Unfortunately, there is no rubber strap available that matches the honey yellow dial.

This might also explain why she is so intrigued about the "Serpent". She studied zoology for many years, and loves all animals, especially those with a bad reputation: spiders, snakes, hyaenae, and so on. So her appreciation for the "Serpent" might not permit concluding for the majority opinion.
