I have always wished to have one of the marvelous blue lacquer dial Marine Perpetuals, but my heart is really beating still for the sober GMT Perpetual in pink gold I had the privilege to write an experience test about. Well, this watch was even smaller than 39mm, today considered an absolute no-go, but still I cannot recall having thought it would be too small on my wrist. Yet I am sure that if I swapped my currently worn 46mm Superocean for it, the result would be a mild shock.
