Need some advice for FREAK 1, does anyone know when is the right time to wind the movement, I never set it fully wound because I am afraid might damage the movement, as it seems so delicate. so sometimes every 2-3 days i just wind it few turns, is it okay... 

First of all, welcome here and congratulations on your Freak. I suggest you do a search on the Freak in the UN Forum to turn up a lot of info about the Freak including winding issues. Here is just one relatively recent thread in which there is some discus...

Hi, and welcome here! There is no problem when winding a Freak... You can wind your watch after a few days, or at the end at the power reserve, there are no contre indications., no issues. So, enjoy it, and as suggested by Respo, please share sompe pics o... 

that is let it power down fully and then wind it, and also winding it after a few days before it powers down. No issues. Congrats on your original Freak!

i let mine run down and lay dormant for sometimes a month or more at a time with no issues. the only thing you must not do is adjust the time before winding the watch. DO NOT DO THAT!!! welcome Graham

WHY CANT YOU SET THE TIME BEFORE WINDING THE WATCH. WILL IT BERAK THE MOVEMENT??

yes neddy it will. i dont know how, but there's an amended instruction slip with the intruction book that tells you not to do it. i'm sure someone more techy than me knows why, but i cant figure it out. best Graham

Can you please elaborate more on this? I have just purchased the original Freak with no box or manual and would love an in depth explanation about how to wind it/set it etc . Not sure how many winds it needs. How I know when I should stop, and how to set ...
