First of all, welcome here and congratulations on your Freak.
I suggest you do a search on the Freak in the UN Forum to turn up a lot of info about the Freak including winding issues. Here is just one relatively recent thread in which there is some discussion about winding (but there have been other threads in teh past that spoke to this):
My understanding is that you may wind the Freak as often as you like to keep the power reserve up and the watch as accurate as possible -- so maybe wind it every 3-4 days? I also understand that it is difficult if not impossible to overwind the Freak, so no worries there. I think there is, perhaps, a perception that the Freak is an unusually delicate watch, and this is NOT the case. It is a very well made watch meant to be wound often and worn daily. But the Freak does have a roughly 7-day power reserve (one has to love the unique de facto power reserve indicator on the back of fthe watch), so it is not a bad idea to let the PR run down fully and discover the unique properties of YOUR Freak's performance especially after day 5. Once you learn how your Freak performs near the end of the PR, which may run well beyond 7 days as it does in some cases, you can decide when and how often to wind your watch.
I hope that helps and does not merely state what you already know about the Freak.
And, PLEASE post some photos of your Freak. We would love to see yours.
Cheers,
