Since all service work is now done by a Sowind group center ....
... together with GP watches service prices have increased considerably. In 2017, complete service of a golden GMT perpetual was 1,300 Euros, now I was quoted 2,300 Euros for the Acqua Perpetual, which does not have the GMT mechanism. ON the other hand, prices for the options, including new rubber strap with titanium links and folding clasp, remained the same.
I am not sure, but I think that the titanium folding clasps cannot be "polished" or brushed as easily as steel.
