Whoopee!

Sowind, yes, there my 2008 Maxi Marine Diver was also serviced, for about 1k Euro (converted from Swiss Francs) plus a big price tag for a new rubber strap of almost 450,- (which did not include any new metal connectors, just the four rubber parts). Together with a second rubber strap as spare part, this was a big total number of almost 2k! For comparison, the AP Royal Oak was about 1.2 k EUR for the service plus about 600,- flat for reconditioning of the bracelet, which was in almost mint condition before, so also a big number in total. All prices including Swiss VAT. I checked the prices for a Omega Seamaster Chronograph recently, as I bought one of the latest models second hand in mint condition for a good price, and this service gives a flat total of 1.2 k. To stretch the comparison even further, I asked for service on an Eterna Vaughan out from my Eterna collection at Eterna / Corum in La Chaux de Fonds, and they refused to service this model at all, as they don't have any spare parts in stock anymore (this is a beautiful model with big date function sold with heavy discounts until a couple of years ago). So decide yourself, what's the best deal of them all! I remember the time when a perfect service was no more than 500,-. Full stop. smile
