I think that the question of the level of perfection we can expect is difficult to answer, but I also think that manufacturers should at least strive for perfection, even if they cannot achieve it. In another context I was advised that manufacturers should consider a quality satisfactory, if it appears flawless for the naked eye from a distance of some 20 or 30 centimeters.
