There are two types of UN repeaters
First of all, I believe all UN repeaters and strikers are jacquemarts, which makes them very interesting and unique. There are two types of UN chiming watches (not counting the Sonata): half hour strikers and real repeaters. Hour hour strikers appeared in UN catalogue in mid nineties I believe. They can be easily recognized by two chronograph like pushers. They strike hours and half hours both on demand and automatically. They used ETA base movement with striking module on top. Not sure who made the module, but my assumption would be that it came from Christoph Claret. You can easily recognize the fact that the movement is modular, because the crown and pushers are not at the same plane. Then there are real repeaters which can be easily recognized by the typical repeater slider. The movements for those came from Claret. As far as I know none of these watches were limited editions, but rather limited production. I never listened to the highest end ones like Genghis Khan, but the other ones didn’t sound very good in my opinion: the governor was pretty loud and the gongs were quiet and didn’t have very good tone. I used to own hour striker and jungle repeater and despite not ideal sound I am regretting selling them both. They were very interesting and unique watches. I believe UN isn’t making repeaters anymore, at least not as regular production watches.
