Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Tourbillon. One quick picture.
Of a watch we'll discuss a bit later. Just one thing I can already mention, though: This is one of the few Tourbillons I totally admire, along with the GP Gold Bridge(s) and a few JLCs. There is something spectacular in this watch. Even if I prefer the no jewelled version. Here is the promised picture:

Nice picture Nicolas, this is a very elegant watch.....

I, too, love this wonderful tourbillon ...
... unfortunately, there is no version completely void of jewels. Sapphires marking the hours are the minimum, but they aren't very conspicious. I think that the jewels really compromise the stunning effect of the transparent bridges. Marcus

I don't think I ever noticed the unique lugs on this case.
And with good reason - how do you not stare at what is inside?!? Looking forward to this follow up as well.

I traditionally eschew jewels on a watch, as I don't think they add to the design. However, having seen the jeweled and non-jeweled versions of this watch, I prefer the jeweled version. The non jeweled version still has sapphires on the hours and the sapp...
