I'm interested in the 82172 and have seen a few different dials including a Japan edition which was limited to 75 pieces with a darker textured dial as well as one with a textured creamy white dial show in this post. I like this one but cannot seem to fin...

There are indeed quite a few nice limited or special editions: the Japan LE in WG, boutique version in RG, platinum version with grey matte dial, the Paris LE in RG and the CEP. Might have missed 1-2 others Actually all the versions are good & very lovely... 

By strange coincidence I found myself in Tokyo and managed to try on the LE Tokyo edition before it was released. Didn’t pull the trigger. Probably mistake in hindsight. They are all class.

There also was a guilloche dial Paris boutique edition in RG, a Japan guilloche edition in WG, and I'm sure others. I know in September 2021 I enquired about the platinum model(my real desire) which they said were all done production. My follow up was the... 

Thanks for all the feedback. Looks like I have something to keep me busy searching! I'm open to any suggestions on searching for watches on the second hand market. I have 2 models from the Overseas line in my collection and would like to ass a simple more...

Yes the Japan LE edition is a very nice one. Another LE that I recall correctly but I can’t find by googling would be the brown dial version done for “Hausman” (spelling) in Italy. I could have sworn I saw the press release years ago for this limited edit...
