As the main issue I think from what I have read was with the initially announced power reserve of 60 hours that went down to 48 hours due to power necessary for annual calendar day/month jumps. But am curious as to why they actually added those two jewels if the initial movement was still working fi

Patek Philippe: Is there a notable difference in 5235 movement series?

I noticed earlier series of 5235G had the 31-260 REG QA movement set with 29 jewels while later series and newer 5235R version have 31 jewels… Am aware the model had issues at production start, but does this change in jewels make a notable difference in any way? I guess if they still sold the 29-jew

And super nice quattuor! Decision is in progress… 🤞🏻WT really is a special item… Yellow gold might be the only weakness on that model, one has to feel comfortable wearing that color… but that’s also gives this model some hypnotic appeal, and that’s the map I prefer 😅
