A thorough report, Fx....
thank you for all the effort. I can't disagree with the conclusion that this is a quiet year for VC. When I consider each piece on its own terms I find that it was a strong year, just not one to wow collectors.
I have yet to see a photo that truly captures the impact of the blue dial Overseas models. They are fantastic. The rose gold Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar, which you did not show, is also a winner.
Are we so jaded by news of multiple tourbillon watches that the Patrimony Traditionnelle 14 Day Tourbillon feels underwhelming? Taken on its own terms it is a fantastic watch.

The off-centered hands enhance a bit this "coffin" feeling but if even Vlad is not convinced... BTW, maybe the best of this year for Vacheron is yet to come as a little bird told us? Fx
