A visit at the Vacheron booth at the SIHH is always mandatory. First because we have the pleasure to meet our friend Alex, then because Vacheron has always a very special way to create a warm atmosphere at its booth by emphasizing the "Metiers d'Art" and ...  

Not many comments on VC 2012,that says a lot really. A year of transition,If it waasnt for the univers infinis,there wouldn t be much to talk about. But those marvellous dials are really something spectacular. Thanks FX Mo

OK, the Univers Infins are an awesome universe, burt too maneered for my taste, even if the work on the dials is just remarkable. As for the new Malte Tonneau, this is a first for me, as I would rather call them the " Coffin case ". For Vlad, that is a wa... 

The off-centered hands enhance a bit this "coffin" feeling but if even Vlad is not convinced... BTW, maybe the best of this year for Vacheron is yet to come as a little bird told us? Fx

thank you for all the effort. I can't disagree with the conclusion that this is a quiet year for VC. When I consider each piece on its own terms I find that it was a strong year, just not one to wow collectors. I have yet to see a photo that truly capture... 

Yes this 14 days Tourbillon is a beautiful watch, I agree with you. My concern is about the Patrimony style which starts to be too often replicated for my taste. I would like to see something which differentiates more this Tourbillon dial details from the... 

doesn't have an iconic watch style that is instantly associated with the Brand. I believe VC is trying to address that with the Patrimony and now with the Malte (as a tonneau) shaped watch to provide the iconic look. But as they do that, there are perhaps...

SIHH was in many ways all about the highest-end complications this year across many of the brands. I personally felt things were quiet mainly on the lower end of the spectrum and not just with respect to VC. I am underwhelmed by the 40 th anniversary cele... 

It is always important to get messages like yours to bring another point of view. I appreciate it. Actually, this 2012 offer makes me think about the 2011 Lange one: it seemed very quiet but 5 new movements were unveiled! Fx
