Good luck in making your decision. And towards that, do you care that one if manual winding and the other automatic? With date or without?
Personally, I prefer silver dials to colored dials, which would tilt my decision to the 1921 (along with my general preference for things VC, as you might find on this forum!).

no question in my mind. i might baulk if we were comparing a nautilus, but i find the vc in this case an obvious choice. beautiful, elegant, interesting, classic. love the dial. chris
