Replaced by the 5227. VC's Patrimony Contemporaine with date 85180 is an excellent timepiece. It is larger than the PP at 40mm and has date at 6 o clock which I think gives the dial a better balance. I also believe at retail it is less expensive than PP. At per-owned I have no idea. Personally I prefer the VC. There is also the VC Patrimony Traditionelle reference 87171 with date at 3 and seconds subsoil at 9. Same movemement as 85180. You can't go wrong with either.
If I was out to buy one of these I would choose the 85180 in rosé gold or the black boutique edition.

I don't have much hjand's on experience with the PP watches....
but would highly recommend that you consider the VC 85180 Patrimony Contemporaine. Like Kunal said above, the balance of the dial with the date at 6 o'clock makes for a very elegant timepiece. Bill

Post Kunal's mail, I am seriously considering the Rose/Pink Gold option. My only apprehension at this point in time is the size (font) of the date. I hope to see it physically & then make a decision. Regards
