The platinum model with blue numbers is quite striking! Now I wonder why they called the reissue the 1921 and not the 1919....

in the Historiques collection, I personally prefer the Cornes de Vache. That's why I never considered acquiring a 1921.

I love the 1921 in all pictures and in many variants (best of all the Pt with blue printed numerals) but as soon as I put it on my wrist, everything seems to fall apart. My wrist must be cursed…

I would have inserted the link in the presentation. Like you, I wonder why they haven't tilted the dial on the pc models. The watch looks far less attractive to me without. Best.

Each of the 12 pieces has a different numeral painted in red instead of black. And, as the 3 is hidden by the seconds subdial, the piece which should have a red 3 has, instead, all numerals in red. Other specificity: the minute markers between the 7 and t...  

Thank-you for your patience in digging it up VC did a very attractive Gen II OS chronograph for Pisa and this is another winner. I wonder if they were inspired by the 2007 launch edition of the Historiques 1907 Chronometre Royal wristwatch? FWIW, red nume... 

On my side, I didn't know about the Overseas Pisa edition! But finding photos of it is far easier than the 1921! I also didn't know about the historical context of the red numerals. And, as far as the possible link of this 1921 Pisa edition with the 1907 ...
