Vacheron Constantin

A friend is selling his dad’s vacheron constantin skeleton and wanted me to buy it and hence offered me a first right of refusal. Just wanted to ask what era this piece would be from ? . I like the look of it . Any collectible aspect ? Pls give your thoug...  

Not collectible IMO due to the integrated bracelet, the ostentatious look, and the diamond bezel. VC does have very nice skeletonization. Buy if you truly love it, but realize that if you don’t love it, these are very hard to sell on the secondary market.... 

But styles change and I think this while still special hasn't fared well with recent trends. Still appreciate seeing it but not sure if I'd acquire it.

The caliber 1120 movement is a landmark, still in use in some of AP's and VC's top watches. It's fine work: nobody puts in the amount of effort it takes to make a bracelet like that any more. Also, there is a lot of gold value. Still, you have to like it;... 

I wish more watch brands made bracelets like that again tho!! I only see piaget making braceletrs like that but I wish more did that, i would wear it! I do think that it is valuable but the style if very 80s/70s, and like the other said, that movement is ...

Vacheron Constantin bracelet and open work skeletal dials are unmatched by patek philippe . what a piece of art . buy it .
