Actually I must apologize. Your watch is the cal. 1120- I didn’t note that it is self-winding, so I mistook it for the VC cal. 1003 manual wind. The AP equivalent in my watch is the cal. 2003. I believe that the these movements are handmade in that the plate metal is cut away and finished by hand and certainly the engraving is by hand. The bracelet in yours was certainly made by hand too. The wheels, escapement, main spring, and other parts that are white metal are from the ebauche. The amount of transparency through the movement together with the fine finishing is a hallmark of VC skeleton work. The high price of these watches reflects the work involved. I’m a fan lol. Very ostentatious piece.

Not collectible IMO due to the integrated bracelet, the ostentatious look, and the diamond bezel. VC does have very nice skeletonization. Buy if you truly love it, but realize that if you don’t love it, these are very hard to sell on the secondary market....

Make sure the bracelet fits or you are SOL on this watch

The caliber 1120 movement is a landmark, still in use in some of AP's and VC's top watches. It's fine work: nobody puts in the amount of effort it takes to make a bracelet like that any more. Also, there is a lot of gold value. Still, you have to like it;...
