Dials are definitely important....
which is why those of us who go for vintage watches pay such premiums for original pristine dials. That watch is the best transformation I have seen of an EP model rising above the standard production model.
I have not heard anything about VC stopping production on the Malte Chronograph with the introduction of the Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph. Each has a distinctive character.
