I'm not saying that the Patrimony Chrono and PC Chronos are not great watches.
They ARE!
BUT, if only VC would have made them with 2 or 3 mm less, it would have been perfect.
Therefore, I prefer the Malte lugs, they are more precious.

Funny how a dial can change a watch
I was never able to see a Malte Chrono in Platinum, before. I had to wait to go in Geneva, this year, to see and handle it, and I was stunned. I knew that on this version, there was no guillochage on the dial, and it makes all the difference in my percept...
Dials are definitely important....
which is why those of us who go for vintage watches pay such premiums for original pristine dials. That watch is the best transformation I have seen of an EP model rising above the standard production model. I have not heard anything about VC stopping pro...
