I am so glad you posted these photos, Bill
When we were at the Boutique, I was like a kid in a candy shop, and it was all too much for me to take in at once. With every glance, there was another distraction. 
It is good to have the chance to linger over these images in a way I could not while in the Boutique.
You really captured that beautiful red enamel. The lighting was less than ideal, Bill, but you doa great job with these.
I am still surprised at how small the original 1921 is.

Regarding the 1921...
Kudos to the design team for getting the size so right on the Historiques 1921, what with the size of the original being so small. I wonder if I am alone in preferring the standard 1921 to the dial of the NY Boutique 1921? Bill
You are not alone.
I agree, and at least two other collectors I spoke with last week also agree. But the Boutique version is quite fetching and will find its fans who prefer it over the original Historique American 1921.
One disappointing aspect...
of the NY Boutique edition is that the dial numbers are not luminescent, although they were on the original with the large Arabics covered in radium paste. To copy the design without the purpose is disappointing, for me at least....
