Kudos to the design team for getting the size so right on the Historiques 1921, what with the size of the original being so small. I wonder if I am alone in preferring the standard 1921 to the dial of the NY Boutique 1921? Bill
I agree, and at least two other collectors I spoke with last week also agree. But the Boutique version is quite fetching and will find its fans who prefer it over the original Historique American 1921.
of the NY Boutique edition is that the dial numbers are not luminescent, although they were on the original with the large Arabics covered in radium paste. To copy the design without the purpose is disappointing, for me at least....
