A fine dress watch effort---would be much better without the date--that includes an interesting guilloche dial; but when I think VC, I want to see more playfulness in the case and lugs. The case is plain. The lugs are straight and uninteresting. There is ... 

The lugs do have a playful element of you look at them from the side (straight from the top, granted) but I know what you\'re getting at. Not an imminent need or purchase, so more or less just testing the water for the moment

I think it is a lovely watch....right size with a good movement...so why not?

As said, will definitely still need to think about it but seemed like a fun piece

They are a little small... They have suffered bad resale value... But that is now created a steady or level price value... So at this juncture... I just love them for what they are... Yes, a little 'simple.' yes a little 'dated' But.... Great composition.... 

I mind neither the size nor the solid case back And the value for money is undoubtedly decent - cannot imagine them falling further in price, so a relatively risk free venture. Will see how I decide in the end

Love the chronometre Royal, for example... a rather small watch, a little dated.... but I love it

I love the broad hands and the Romans... it has the 'tension' of dial design that almost no watches have anymore... I want one of these! I just haven't found one with my name on it yet.

Right Size and Beautiful , 35 mm is enough . Bigger than this Size will hide the Strap .

Slightly bigger at 36mm, cal1400 with Geneva seal, display back, stepped lugs, and a nicer (IMO) guilloche dial. And no date ...
