As most men I use "eau de toilette" in the morning and I know this can compromise the water resistance of many watches. Are the VC compatible with perfume ? I think it is a great choice....
While I generally try to take off my Overseas when roughhousing with my two boys (7 and almost 4) so that they don't get clocked in the head with a metal watch that would have the same effect as brass knuckles, the watch has never been harmed by the play....
I would say there are a lot of things the Rolex can take that the Vacheron can't.
