Perhaps the best thing to do is live with it as is for now. Its already scratched/dented. I'm sure it will get at least other small fine scratches so maybe you should wait until it needs a complete overhaul and then you can let VC deal with everything at one time.

hey VC fans, I recently aquired a Malte Duel Time Regulator WG, after several months of use I finally commited the dreadfull mistake I was hoping to avoid for at least a couple of years... I banged it into a door on my way out... which inevitably scratche...

Thank you for all your input, I will probably take it to an AD to get the scratch out and will not risk any Magiver tacktics on this beautiful piece
