Vacheron Constantin

My friends, we had an unqiue experience in Paris last night. Vacheron Constantin organized, as in the last 6 or 7 years, a superb dinner. Our Hosts, the VC Team, and specially Yves Di Martino and Alex, chose one of the most prestigious Parisian Restaurant...  

The word that most often comes to my mind when I think of VC is "elegance." It comes across in their watches, these dinners they organize, the accessories they produce alongside the watches (right, Bill?) and in the people they choose to represent the bra... 

Oooh well, I should not stay in this way, or they will drive me to the psychiatre... I am totally in phase with what you said about Elegance and VC. Even their collectors are elegant people, from what I lived and felt. A superb brand to (re) discover with... 

Vacheron Constantin, Paris, La Tour d'Argent, its a Dream in Paradise. Vacheron the Phoenix and this "Les Historiques" more beautifull each time I see it. Merci beaucoup. Francois

Looks like it was a wonderful dinner and a it was attended by many interesting watches and lawyers with the historic salmon dialed chronograph. I assume there wasn't any food at this dinner, just watches for you to feast your eyes on. Thank you Nicolas!

Looking for Virtue in a church... It is just evident that the food was gorgeous, but I'm not sued at all to take pics of food. Watches only! It was an horological and gastronomical feast. Best, Nicolas

Look you had a great evening, with all those great VC watches, i had the pleasure to be there some years ago, and still remember Alex and Mister Di Martino as great host's Still want to see the 1921 one time in the flesh, after the mercator my favorite VC... 

This watch may speak to you, as an happy owner of the Starwheel. Just after, the Mercator. Then, the Chronometre Royal, this perpetual calendar skeleton ... The list may be even longer next year! As for Yves and Alex, two great " Messieurs ", for sure! Al... 

That's a watch, but if i recall it good, only about 10 pieces made for Russian market only, so even second hand, impossible to find. But i agree, there is a long list of great VC watches worth having. A couple years ago in Paris during the VC diner, they ...  

This will be an extremely rare bird to hunt. I have to confess that even if I admire the work on the Mask Series, they worry me a bit. Best, my friend. Nicolas.

Let me tell you Nicolas, if there is one place on this earth which never ceases to surprise me it is Moscow ... and yes I have seen ghosts there on several occasions! I always feel like the protagonist in a Bulgakov novel when I'm there ... It was a very ... 

A great event and a warm atmosphere despite the freezing cold outside... It was a big pleasure for all the guests to participate at this event, the Vacheron team was very available and brought a lot of information about the current and past collections. A...

Thanks for not showing the food pics. Nicolas. It would have been more agonizing for us spectators who were not privileged to be there. VC has a certain old world charm and "old money" association which works very nicely with the ambience of La Tour D'Arg...

At La Tour D'argent! I miss the ducks there! But i think i shall miss your salmon pink platinum chrono even more! Not that i will have a chance to acquire it one day, unless VC and the future is kinder towards me! Merci for letting me have a taste of the ... 

But, there is a BUT, they are too small for you, and some of these marvels are automatic... For example, the Les Historiques Chrono in platinum, with the salmon dial, is only 37 mm big. For me, it is perfect, but for you? Best, Nicolas.

And with me and my never compromising principles, it makes it a little tough. BUT, and there is a BUT here too, that I don't think i shall ever change, especially now more so with my fiancee in my life, she agrees as much and even more that I stick to my ... 

Each time I see the American 1921, it re-establishes itself as my favorite VC. I love the funky, elegant look of the watch. Great post, Nicolas! Cheers, Daos
