Picked up a new, entry-level hand crank
I'm enjoying it! The 38mm size is a lot easier to wear than my 40mm 1921 though the aesthetics of it straddle something between modern and classic.
A few design tweaks I'd like to make it a perfect 3 hander for me:
1. Make the small seconds subdial about 20-30% larger
2. Make the 3 and 9 mimic the 12 index so that it really evokes the maltese cross in a subtle way
3. Make the bezel and crystal have a little more height / dimensionality. The flatness feels overly modern and clinical to me, a little rounding would give it an appropriately traditional vibe without being a throwback.
4. Make it in YG as opposed to the pretty copper heavy RG
5. Make the dial just a little more eggshell in color and effect.

But it looks to me like you'd also like it with the lug holes a little further from the case
