Quai de l'Ile
VC was definitely correct in choosing to create a separate line for this style of watch, which I have best heard described as "new watchmaking" and which is exemplified by the likes of Richard Mille, Urwerk, MB&F, and Vianney Halter. To try to incorporate this style into the well founded product lines like Malte and Patrimony would have been a grave mistake.
I will have more to say about this in my forthcoming review of the QdI.

I love the Quai de l'Ile and I find the dislike of this watch intriguing!
I don't like the QDI line in general, but...
I think this unique piece is done better than the regular line and definitely more attractive. Hopefully its a sign of things to come. BR, Dan
