That is great question and the answer is not as easy as one might think! For this strap it was made both with curved pins and the strap was curved as well.
In this case I simply team my strap artisans it is for this watch and he knows what to do. If a strap is relatively flexible it is possible to get a normal straight strap and put curved pins on it and it will work but it really depends on the straps. I have two Alcantra strap I had made where I could fit this VC because the material is flexible enough and it works...
