The 47200
I have owned both the JLC RDM in steel and the VC 47200 in white gold. I sold the JLC.
The 47200 has basically the exact same JLC movement as the older version of the Master RDM that had bi-directional winding. The only two visible differences that I could distinguish is that VC uses a 21 Kt rim on the rotor and JLC uses a 22 Kt one and that VC uses a straight line Geneva wave, were as JLC uses a circular design. I prefer the straight line Geneva wave design.
In my opinion, the VC is an enhanced version of the JLC RDM. To me the VC has a more aesthetic case and is offered in white gold which has never been offered by JLC; the JLC only came in steel and rose gold. The VC dial is also an enhanced design with its modified layout, three roman numerals (which is somewhat rare) and rose engine vertical cut dial.
I like the layout

The movement is definitely from JLC. JLC uses an extension of it for their Master Geographic, but also had a simpler watch, the Master Reserve de Marche that is an even closer cousin. Bill
