Hi, Some time ago I had the opportunity to see the Patrimony ref 81180 in Pink Gold with grey dial... I find this watch to be 40 mm of elegance and purity! The case is 6.79 mm thick. The Pink Gold case adds a lot of class and the grey dial gives the watch...

whl, MB, Respo, Gary and I met. Besides great conversation were great VC. The plat 81180p grey was brought by Bill. We discussed that watch vs the current platinum traditionelle. respo and I ended up wanting the Trad and instead Respo got the EP 81180 and...

I have the Traditionelle in Platinum (82172) and your are so right about the markers - they really do pop in any light. I was very ambivalent about the grey until I saw it the metal... then I was hooked.

And it's a perfect dress watch. I was surprised too about the caseback but taking account the small diameter of the movement I think VC took the right decision. Constantin

I think they could have made an open case back if like on the Ultra-Fine 1955. But that would have required complete change of the case... Best Blomman ...  

...IMHO. That last photo...it looks perfect on your wrist, Blomman. I love VC's gray dials. I came oh so close to getting the gray dial platinum 81180 (Bill knows this from painful experience). I would have gotten it if another 81180 had not come along. ;...

Vacheron Constantain this year entered 261 years of Royaity and the Patrimony has got the spirit and history of the Fifties era. Such a wonderful piece of class and history.

Yes, VC is a brand I have been looking at for quite some time and would love to add.... But currently no VC in my watch box. Best Blomman

The VC Patrimony is one of my favorite dressier watches, in this exact combination, so elegant and timeless. I prefer this one more than the 85180 automatic with date, the white date is really an eyesore for me. If this one had a see through case back it ... 

This is one of my favorite version of the Patrimony! But I still don't have any VC in the Collection.... Best Blomman
