Wow! Never seen a black dial before on that ref! Even if it's different I prefer, as I always do, in the choice between black or white, the white one. Do you subscribe 'physically', I mean in to a cataloge to Pattrizi's auctions? Same quality as the old A...

Good to see you around! While I haven't subscribed to receive he Patrizzi auction catalogs, I think I received it was sent to me because I am on the mailing list of a dealer who has a business relationship with Patrizzi. The hard copy is a lot less cumber... 

I generally prefer dark dials to silver dials, when they are available. That watch is a "knock out!" The dial is beautiful and the horn shaped lugs really make the watch stand out among some of the other vintage chronographs. Thats sure to make its future...

I was considering the Robert Cart art deco piece. It was for sale at Bogoff's site in SFO but I missed it there. I haven't totally decided to bid on it. Cart did some designs for VC and Gubelin which although similar to this one are more appealing. Regard... 

There seems to be a very large number of Vacheron chronographs in this auction. I wonder if they are from a single collection?

"Property of an English Gentleman" kind of headers, so there is no hint about all the chronographs coming from one collection. I suppose it is impossible to know unless you ask someone at the auction house. Bill
