The lack of scratches on the movement, or watchmaker’s notations inside the cover, suggests it may never have been serviced so perhaps that would be a good idea if you intended to wear it. Somewhat controversial for its departure from classic movement architecture, calibre 1014 was in use for a good twenty years and a real mainstay for the brand.

Always amazing to see movements of this time...
Where they are finished purly for function. It really shows you where the current high end (for looks) finishing started. I am surprised VC didn't opt for a jewel on the center wheel pivot.
