The funny thing is that I saw this 49002 some months ago, I was in search of replacing my " Les Historiques " Chrono...
I too fell on the 49002... Intrigued, for a few minutes, by a Chrono I didn't know.
So, I made some searches to be sure it wasn't a fake, and I had the confirmation it was real.
Honestly, it cannot compete with the purity of the 47100, due toi its third subdial and most of all, its date window, which ruins a bit the dial, in my opinion.
Therefore I much prefer the case and lugs of the 47100, but I am completely nut about Teardrop lugs.
BUT, BUT... If I had the 47100, and if I was in search of another VC Chrono, I would consider the Malte, and this 49002.
The case is appealing, the enamel dial is a plus, too.
Congratulations, a.ler... What's the next target, now?
Best,
Nicolas.
