That's what I meant. The PP Calatrava and Lange Saxonia (along with a breguet classique) were the finalists with my VC.
Definitely agree with you the PP Calatrava is a most worthy alternative!
And there are many Calatravas to choose from.
But in the end I didn't go for a Calatrava for a PP. I thought for a little more, I would rather go for a PP Annual Calendar which I got for Christmas last year, 3 months after I got this VC Patrimony. An annual review of this PP will be done around Christmas

I agree, it is the nicest 3 hand simple dress watch IMHO too. I chose it over the Patek Calatrava and Lange Saxonia (which came very close!!). The 4400 movement is to die for. Beautifully designed and finished! cheers robin

Precious metals...
are not easy to maintain... hairline scratches by even shirt fibres! I only buy precious metal pieces for very special watches that I love alot :) cheers robin

Your watch looks damn good ! It looks prim and new ! Good watch you have. this watch to the brand (VC) is equivalent to what Calatravas are for Patek Philippe watches.
