Tourbillon accuracy
So the upcoming chronometer competitions (which pretty unfairly exclude non-European brands) got me thinking. I read previously somewhere that even though tourbillons are more accurate in tests (they're compensating for position after all), they're actually in theory less accurate on the wrist because the wrist is not static and the tourbillon is simply draining energy from the mainspring without any real contributions.
I guess this would then make the ETA 2824 Chronometer grade the most accurate movement in the world ...
or would it?

and am much too tired to search out their norms for testing, how they were determined and whether they make more human (marketing) than scientific sense. We need to know about their standards, how they were set and agreed upon, and have them available to ...
