Back when two-tone was in

My dad bought this in the mid-80's when twotone watches were popular, and this Datejust is quite a reflection of it's time.   He didn't wear it much, reserving wearing it to weddings and special events.

He gifted it to me some years ago when he saw me getting more into mechanical watches.  I actually quite like the Tapestry dial, but the rest of the two-tone bezel and bracelet gives me pause, so I also seldom wear it and it sits safely in the vault.

Some say two-tone is on it's way back, and if that's true, I may wear it again as a tribute to my Dad!
