WristScan

BÖC! I remember going thru the record racks at Licorice Pizza . . .

. . . back in '74 and coming across Secret Treaties.  I was intrigued by the album cover, but as the band had little airplay (FM radio was the only way we were exposed to cutting edge music in those days), didn't know who they were, thereby passing up owning a first-run pressing of one of the most acclaimed heavy metal albums ever.

Don't Fear the Reaper gets an occasional turn on the jukebox at my weekly pool tournament, and I once played ME-262, but never a track from their first album, Tyranny and Mutation.  Chances are good Hot Rails to Hell . . .

. . . gets a spin this week.
