Hello dear friends ! We are now live and the team at WristScan have the pleasure of being your hosts this weekend. Our theme is all about “Watches & Wonders” and the newly announced watches, some of which we will we want to get our hands on ! Share with u...
Hello dear friends ! Starting WristScan with a good coffee and considering the novelties from Watches and Wonders … It’s a wild concept but I just love the playful idea of a Ventablack Streamliner … The watch is on the right ) … What do you think about it...
Personally, I´ve been waiting with special interest to see the novelties from Tudor and Rolex. In the case of Rolex in the last few years I don´t wait for the new models with same enthusiasm of before in spite being a fan of the brand for so many decades....
The Tudor BB Pro would be an excellent choice. The design echoes a previous generation of Rolex and I don’t feel that this is a bad thing. Definitely one in my shopping list. The watch that really caught my attention is the Patek Phillipe 5172G Chronograp...
... a marvelous watch... with a salmon dial! Agree with you that it is pure class on the wrist. Take care my dear friend, and have a nice weekend. Abel
The Pasha Grille really is fun but I hope a no date version gets added at some point 🤞🏻 I am surprised that even for a long time brand collector like you it’s impossible to view or reliably order the current Rolex collection 😱
Looking at some watch prices recently I am seriously considering if it’s still worth it or if enjoying what I have is the better choice 🤷🏻♂️ All going bonkers 🤪
I thoroughly agree with you regarding Rolex. I love the brand but I just cannot even buy any when I visit ADs... I am on the waiting list for a few, one already now discontinued so no hope with that one. As I refuse to pay a premium to a flipper (out of p...
... and knowing that even after a couple of years you may not get your watch. I feel it is not fair! Regarding the BB it is true. As much as I love it and own several BB in my collection I would like that Tudor would make them thinner like in the good old...
The Polaris Perpetual The Moser Cylindrical Tourbillon. I got to try on the prototype a couple of weeks ago and it wears smaller than it’s 42.8mm Pioneer Case would suggest. And finally the Patek Annual Calendar - its all about the dial and lugs on this o...
JLC produces so many interesting movements and watches. The three that I have are very different in concept and design with the Reverso and Duometre being quite unique as design concepts. As a manufacture they still don’t get the attention I think they wa...
Quite literally they don’t make them like that any more! This one always brings a smile to my face when I wear it. So many complications in such a relatively small package - even thought it’s called the Grande GMT
I’d seen the various iterations of this watch over the years but not really paid close attention. Then I started to look seriously at the 40mm white gold - moon phase calendar model. I thought that the size would work better. I saw all models in a recent ...
. . . if funds weren't an issue: the Czapek Antarctique S Frozen Star. And even then, it likely wouldn't. 😏 The lust for vintage continues, though, with a recent arrival . . . [ ca '69 Ω ref 145.022] . . . and another due in later this month. [seller's ph...
... introduced by Omega just a few days before W&W which I inmediatelly fell in love with: The CK 859 based on a vintage watch from this brand. Case is steel and 39 mm and a marvelous sector dial. I´m talking with the local Boutique for one of these. ...
... a very reasonable term considering present watch market conditions. In my Country which is going through one of its worst (if not the worst) economic and political crisis of its history the imports of luxury merchandise is subject to many restrictions...
As for the watch I actually don’t know how long it will take to hopefully get one but maybe I will get lucky and get one before the summer months…although I would much rather have less turmoil around us … please stay state my friend and hopping all is wel...
. . . customer profiles. In my case, the only watch I'd bought thru a boutique was the 60th anniversary Rail, but that was enough to get me on the list. Those who have bought more thru a boutique are given priority. My nephew, although having just purchas...
. . . and he was similarly impressed by Omega's homage to CK 859. Although it is precisely the sort of watch I'd like to see Omega develop, there are several other archetypes more personally compelling such as the Ranchero, RAF '53, US Army ref 2179, et. ...
. . . and I'm sure boutiques are taking deposits now. The wait time for Ed Whites is so long that boutiques are either declining to add new names or are taking them but refusing to accept deposits.
. . . but I'm hoping for a less dressy / more rugged reference as the basis. A white Ranchero would be ideal, but there are many others. For example, an RAF '53 partnered with a US Army . . . that would make a perfect duo!
I somehow have the feeling that it might take a while for them to make it 🤷🏻♂️ Although I have to say that apart from the hype watches they do launch quite some interesting stuff so here’s hoping 🤞🏻
