Hello dear Captain!! Great Theme and awesome shot to open …

… the thread for this weekend!

I can easily understand your deep love for this recent addition to your collection which I know you have been hunting for a long time.

As you know I have added a few pieces to my collection after a
several months pause of watch hunting.

These are the watches I’m presently honeymooning with though of course there are many watches bought long ago which I still love so much as in the first day I received them.

Here the recently arrived:

Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe steel case… an unplanned purchase which I couldn’t resist.:

A divers watch that has been haunting me for a long time. Nothing exotic but an interesting piece for my collection of diving watches as it is the same model issued to Royal Navy divers since some time:

Ref 126500 LN Daytona: this is a watch I liked so much but had thought I would never get considering the present panorama with Rolex.

But I found an unexpected good opportunity and took the plunge!!

Last but not least…

I thought my Tudor Submariner was reasonably “complete” but I was offered this 79090 from 1993 completely minty with its box and warranty looking as if never been worn and couldn’t resist bringing it home.

As I said above there are many watches I’m still deeply in love with them after a long time in my collection.

I would like to share one of them: my FF Aqua Lung a watch I’ve been desiring for many years till I found it at beginning of past year:

In the first shot it is shown with a modern Limited edition of same watch which I keep loving so much too.

Have a nice weekend my dear Captain and all friends here!!
