I'm not a vintage person because ...
My wife "confiscates" all that I get:
1) She started with one that just looks vintage. An Omega Museum:
2) Then she took on her hands a 1946 (only based on the serial number of the movement) Zenith that my watchmaker rebuild
3) Next, a very nice funky memovox. It was my dream and now I only can dream to wear it.
4) On her wrist.
5) A B&W pic of this beauty.

One of my absolute favs of IWC.. - Classic purity !.. Still a tool, but with an effortless harmony & solemn appeal, somehow... Unfortunately I missed one nice one ( + B+P !), some 18 months ago, as I had another nice, but costly project; Still remember it...
Like we use to say in my business, I would rather have one good Ingenieur ....
