It’s also quite fun when encountering a car salesman brandishing the obligatory Rolex. ( nothing against Rolex but you know what I mean)

Was the time I was negotiating over a new car with the salesman, a nice guy with a Rolex steel DJ. Eventually he called in backup in the form of his dealership manager, a portly man with a full gold Day-Date, 40mm, diamond dot dial, literally swinging fro... 

You really should read ‘Arrogance and Accords’ - the story about rampant corruption at Honda of America. Apparently Honda dealers we’re amongst the top Rolex customers, as they needed to bribe the HoA execs with them practically every visit 😉

Hello dear Abel, The Patek 5510 is a watch that I have also dreamt about but never quite made a reality. This has been mainly due to not quite finding the example that fits my personal criteria. I must correct this. You know my passion for all things Moon...

Both the Moonshine and the original 145.022-69 are the crown of my Speedmaster collection. I only regret I have very few opportunities of wearing them here. Have a nice weekend my dear friend. Abel

I had a DateJust and enjoyed it for many years, finally trading it for a Submariner. I wish I still had it. Maybe time to find another one. Which Cartier tank are you dreaming about ?

Really considering giving the quartz version a try. The Santos does creep into my head every once in a while, but I think I'll follow my heart and go with the tank. Don't want to trade anything for it so I'll keep what I have and just add the Cartier.
