Interesting Times …
Hello dear friends,
2025 has been an interesting year for collecting watches and the watch industry in general. After several decades of collecting, the market in 2025 has been going through a period of realignment, which has led me to take a slightly different approach to buying.
I passed on the offer of three new watches that are currently trading at a significant discount on list, but ordered two others. That’s the watch world of 2025 !
Two vintage watches didn’t come into my collection, as the deals were from my point of view slightly unrealistic in the current market conditions. Interestingly, they are both still on the market so we will see what 2026 brings !
My first purchase was a watch that I was missing in my Speedmaster collection…

I really like this reference and variant so much as it was the watch of Armstrong though I can´t remember the year of his historical watch and if it also had a CB case. May be you can refresh me those details. Cheers! Abel

No, it’s the HF case. CB cases were only made for the Speedmaster during 1966 though those cases were used to assemble the chronos during 1966 and 67 and perhaps 68 as well. Glad you like it! Abrazos! Abel Probably the shadows in my pictures give the idea...
