Kendall GT-1 was the motor oil of choice for drag racers . . .
. . . 40+ years ago. I've used it consistently in my cars ever since the early '80s except for a brief period - maybe a year - when I couldn't find it locally and had to switch to Mobil 1. Can't say I noticed any changes in performance or mileage, but oil consumption was definitely up with Mobil 1. Kendall's full synthetic is significantly less volatile than Mobil's.

Well, the cost to keep tracking / racing the Formula 2000 SCCA kinda cut into my horology budgeting.
