As it was bought in the 80s it was a two tone DJ, with a tapestry dial. Quite representative of the 80s!
Since then, he's gifted it to me about 6y ago and it remains a precious part of the collection ❤️

. . . but didn't know my great-grandfather was a watchmaker until my early thirties. So yes, I believe the passion was passed on from one generation to the next - with two missing steps in-between! 👴🏻
